Fall Harvest Pow Wow
This year we are kicking off the school year with a change. We are combining two of our big events to have one full day of family fun. To pull off an event so grand we need as many helpers and input as possible. Please join us for the first planning meeting on Monday August 27th at 6:30 at the lower shelter house in the park. We are holding the meeting here so that football parents can also join in on the fun. This event will be held on October 20th and will include food, games and all day fun for the entire family. New to this event is the Mechanicsburg Historical Tour, extra fee will be charged for the tour. See our Facebook page for details about the awesome event.
Back To School Spirit Day Dance
On September 8th from 2-4 we will be hosting a student dance in the Commons. Admission is only $1.00 plus a can good item that will be donated to the Caring Kitchen. Students are encouraged to wear all the Burg Purple and Gold they can get their hands on.

The PTO has a variety of "Burg" items that can be purchased throughout the school year. You can get your spirit gear by clicking on the Order Form page above. You can send this order form in to school with you child (along with payment, checks made out the The Mechanicsburg PTO).

PTO Meetings
PTO meetings will be held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 3:45 in the school library unless noted otherwise.
Just a Reminder
We all need to do our part to help the environment. Located throughout the school are recycling bins for students and staff to use. Outside in the parking lot are two containers you may use to recycle your papers from home. Not only is it a great way to go Green but as a bonus the school earns money.
